Chancey was born and raised in Plaucheville, Louisiana and is a 2011 graduate of Avoyelles High School. Chancey received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University at Alexandria in 2014. While in college, Chancey served as Vice President of the university’s Phi Beta Lambda chapter.
Chancey received her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center in 2019. During law school, Chancey served as a teaching assistant during her second and third years and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta.
Chancey is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts, and is also a licensed title insurance producer.
During her free time, Chancey enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with her fur baby, Sadie.
